Welcome to the FUSE 6th Class Resource Pilot Website

We are delighted that your school is participating in the Research Study and Pilot of the new 6th class FUSE Anti-Bullying and Online Safety Resource, on the theme of Identity Based Bullying.

The new Action Plan on Bullying, Cineáltas launched by the Minister for Education in December, 2022 acknowledges the importance of evidence-based, age-appropriate and culturally relevant anti-bullying programmes such as FUSE.

Your participation is invaluable to the ongoing research, resource development and education regarding anti-bullying and online safety.

We hope that both you and your pupils will enjoy and benefit from the new resource and we look forward to receiving your feedback at the end of the pilot.

Let’s get started

Now that the 6th class pupils have completed the Pre FUSE Research Survey, the next step in the process is for you to deliver the five lessons to the same group of pupils during the pilot phase, between now and the end of December ‘ 23 / January ‘ 24.

After the pilot phase has ended, we will then provide you with the Post FUSE Research & Evaluation Survey, thus concluding the research study & pilot.
